First line of the story:

Hunter Talbot, House majority whip and Republican of Georgia, stood at his office window looking out onto the Capitol Hill complex. The late summer sky was blue sprinkled with perfect photo-op puffs of white. The weather running through his head was the kind that sent storm chasers leaping for their vehicles.
